Message from Jack Waddell, Chairman of the Board

Passavant has a commitment to our staff, to the communities where our homes are located, to the families of those we serve, and most importantly, a commitment to the individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities whom we are privileged to support. Comprehensive supports for our consumers are Passavant's top priority, and our organization operates at the highest level of quality. That has become our custom and trademark.

I am proud to say that with an experienced management team and dedicated direct support staff, our programs consistently pass licensing reviews with flying colors. Reviews always include glowing comments from County MH/MR Administrators regarding the quality of service, attention to detail and true care shown by all levels of staff.

Through living in community homes located in neighborhoods all over western Pennsylvania, the consumers we serve are able to experience life in much the same way we do. Many of Passavant's management team began their careers as direct support staff, including CEO and President Rick D. Senft. Through his leadership and experience, Passavant Memorial Homes has gone from a struggling agency before his arrival in 1989, to a growing and vibrant organization. Mr. Senft's vision of providing consumers with lifestyle choices is the backbone of Passavant's mission, and his foresight, the main reason for our success.
