Passavant Memorial Homes is recognized as a progressive agency, committed to developing new support systems for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. To do so, Passavant has continued to explore innovative ways to raise the funds to implement these services. While County and State government programs provide some of this money, additional funds are necessary to develop new systems.

To raise these needed funds, Passavant is involved in a variety of fundraising activities, including our Annual Golf Outing and our Shop 4 A Cause program. Passavant is also a contributor choice agency with the United Way. In addition, local charitable foundations are contacted on a regular basis to request grants for the development of new programs or to enhance existing programs.

PMH Foundation
Passavant Memorial Homes Foundation was established in 2001 to support Passavant Memorial Homes and its commitment to enriching the lives of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Foundation ensures the financial stability of Passavant’s quality programs. These programs care for spiritual, social, physical and emotional needs while promoting choice and independence.

Contributions can be made to the Foundation through a variety of methods, including annual giving, special events and the planned giving program. Planned giving can be accomplished through a will, bequest or by establishing a trust fund. Through planned giving, contributors are able to make tax free donations to Passavant.

The support received from the Passavant Memorial Homes Foundation makes it possible for Passavant to continue to serve the needs of individuals with disabilities and their families for years to come.

United Way
Thousands of people donate to The United Way each year. Did you know that you can tell The United Way where you want your donation to go?

While Passavant Memorial Homes does not receive direct funding from The United Way, we are what is called a “Contributor Choice” agency. This means that you can receive the tax benefits related to donating to The United Way General Campaign while supporting Passavant Memorial Homes. Simply inform The United Way that you want all, or a portion of your donation to go to Passavant Memorial Homes.

In Beaver County, Passavant’s Contributor Choice identification number is 1977. If you live outside of Beaver County, please contact your local United Way office and inform them that you would like to contribute to The United Way’s General Campaign, and designate Passavant Memorial Homes as the recipient.
